Animal overview

Birds of the Anser have flat beaks, long necks and pink or orange feet. They feed mainly on weeds and seeds and prefer to forage in freshwater areas where aquatic plants are dense. All 10 species of Anser are found in the northern hemisphere, and all of them have a migratory habit. They like to live in groups and fly in orderly formation.
